An engagement party from the first portraits to a packed dance floor. Red roses, candles, a sequinned gown and a room full of family.

I split the night between portraits of the couple and their friends and coverage of the party itself, so the gallery tells the whole story.

Guests dance and clap around the couple on a packed floor The bride-to-be in a sequinned gown beside red roses The bride-to-be looks back over her shoulder by candlelight Four friends in gowns pose in front of a hedge Two friends sit and laugh together on a garden ledge The bride-to-be sits on a ledge in front of greenery The lace-up back of a sequinned gown in the garden The couple stand together beside the roses and candles The couple embrace in front of their initials
